Building interdisciplinary networks of researchers with relevance, quality and impact in Latin America and the Caribbean
Working Groups (WGs) are interdisciplinary networks of researchers from different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, who come together around a topic or social problem relevant to the region. The WGs work to produce relevant and rigorous comparative knowledge and seek to achieve an effective relationship between researchers, policymakers, and social organizations.
They are organized through public competitions in which proposals for the formation of a working group and a work plan are submitted. These proposals are then evaluated by international juries.
Main lines of action
■ Working meetings to open up the exchange and promote the development of research and analysis from a comparative perspective and with impact.
■ Public events for dialogue and debate on topics relevant to the region within the framework of the global agenda.
■ Exchange and analysis meetings with public policy decision-makers and/or representatives of social organizations.
■ Publications with the results of the research developed in various formats.
