Colombia has no peace
The announcement by a group of the FARC that they are taking up arms again due to the non-compliance with the peace agreements by the government of Iván Duque, changed the already turbulent scenario of Colombia, where the murders of social leaders and former guerrillas converted into a political party are multiplying.
To understand the origins and evolution of the conflict, we turned to the analysis for CLACSO Radio by Carolina Jiménez, a member of the CLACSO Steering Committee representing Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
“We are a society that has been a victim of this war for many decades and we truly deserve to open that path to the transition for building peace,” concludes Carolina Jiménez in her report.
