under the motto “Weaving communities for a liberating pedagogy of Our America”, Will be held on Fifth International Congress on Education: Popular Education, un espacio de encuentro entre educadoras y educadores populares, movimientos sociales, comunidades y experiencias pedagógicas de América Latina y otras regiones del mundo.

During three days, Oaxaca será territorio de diálogo, reflexión y construcción colectiva en torno a una educación comprometida con la social justice, The emancipation and dignity of the peoples. El congreso propone pensar y sentir la educación desde las prácticas, los saberes comunitarios y las luchas sociales, fortaleciendo redes pedagógicas críticas y populares.

The event will feature the participation of renowned international figures in popular education, including Pablo Vommaro, Dora Barrancos, Lola Cendales, Marco Raúl Mejía, Peter McLaren, Gabriela rivadeneira, Fernando Santana, Williana Angelo, Graciela Messina, Valeria Vasconcelos, among many other educators and intellectuals committed to the emancipatory processes of the region.

The event will have the participation of Pablo Vommaro, executive director of CLACSO, as well as members of the CLACSO Working Group on Popular Education and Critical Pedagogies.
