200 years since the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama

Within the framework of the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama (1826-2026), the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Floreal Gorini Cultural Center of Cooperation are organizing the meeting “Balance and perspectives in the emerging multipolar order”, on Wednesday, June 24, in hybrid mode.

This is a space for reflection on the relevance of the Latin American integration project promoted by Simón Bolívar and the contemporary geopolitical challenges of the region.

On May 28, in the Council Room of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, the book “Diary of the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama” by Sergio Guerra Vilaboy of the University of Havana, Cuba, was presented.
