 Dr. Ana María Cetto Kramis (Latindex and UNAM-Mexico) elected president of the UNESCO World Steering Committee for Open Science

The founder of LatindexDr. Ana María Cetto Kramis has been appointed president of the UNESCO World Steering Committee for Open Science.

The appointment recognizes his extensive career and experience, and his supportive and active participation in the open access and open science movement in the region. 

Its activity will focus on identifying key opportunities and challenges for the implementation of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, as well as providing guidance and monitoring the progress of different actors and sectors involved in its development.

Dr. Cetto has participated in various CLACSO activities, namely:

9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences. Mexico City. 2022 

Second Latin American Forum on Scientific Evaluation (FOLEC). Third Open Forum on Science Latin America and the Caribbean-CILAC 2021
