The Postgraduate Network of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), the Center for Advanced Studies on Childhood and Youth (CINDE/University of Manizales, in Colombia), the Ibero-American Network of Postgraduate Studies on Childhood and Youth (RedINJU), and the CLACSO Working Group “Childhoods, Youths: political practices and cultures, memories and inequalities in the contemporary scenario” invite advanced master's or doctoral students, public policy officials, and representatives of social organizations from Ibero-America and the Caribbean to submit their applications to participate in the VI International Postgraduate School “Childhoods and youth: democratic transformations, social justice and peacebuilding processes”, which will take place in Manizales, Colombia, within the framework of the II Ibero-American Biennial of Childhoods and Youth from November 6 to 11, 2016.

The Network of Postgraduate Programs in Childhood and Youth (Red INJU) is one of the thematic postgraduate networks promoted by CLACSO within the framework of the CLACSO Postgraduate Network. Previous editions have primarily received support from the Center for Advanced University Studies of the OEI (CAEU/OEI), UNICEF (Bolivia), AECID, UNESCO, and the Ibero-American Youth Organization (OIJ), among others.
