El Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)Council for the Development of Social Sciences in Africa (CODESRIA), and the International Association for Development Economics (IDEAS), are pleased to announce –within the framework of the third triennium of the Academic Cooperation Program between Latin America/Africa/Asia– the call for participation in the Seventh South-South School on “Inequalities, democracy and development during and after neoliberalism”. The School will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 3 to 8, 2014.

Young people residing in countries of the Global South who are actively pursuing academic careers and hold a university education, preferably a master's degree in one of the social sciences or humanities, are eligible to apply to participate in the South-South School. Applicants must have demonstrable working knowledge of English. A total of thirty (30) people will be selected to participate in the School, ten (10) from each of the three continents: Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
