Special program on Haiti

Haiti is suffering a humanitarian and violence crisis that has been escalating since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021. Gangs control much of the capital, Port-au-Prince, and other parts of the country, and Prime Minister Ariel Henry was forced to resign after announcing the creation of a Transitional Council tasked with choosing an interim prime minister and creating the conditions for free elections.
