InfoCLACSO present at the International Seminar "Ultras, radicals, new, alternative? The emerging right wing in Latin America"organized on Tuesday, October 3rd by the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of the Republic (UDELAR) and CLACSO.

From the Dominican Republic, Elvin Calcaño OrtizA Dominican political scientist, professor, and consultant. He holds a Master's degree in Political Theory from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a researcher and specialist in democratic theory and the analysis of neoliberalism and populism.
One-minute film. The call for entries to the 12th International One-Minute Film Festival, whose theme this year is "Dissidences", closes on October 15th, under the direction of the Mexican filmmaker. Carlos SaldanaThe best short films in the fiction, animation, and documentary categories will be screened at the National Film Archive in Mexico City and at various film archives and galleries throughout Mexico and Latin America, followed by an awards ceremony for the most outstanding work in each category.
Wednesday's program covers one of the main themes of the Platforms for Social Dialogue which CLACSO is promoting for the coming years: “Democracy, human rights and peace".
