-Conference of the Parties to the Escazú Agreement
On International Mother Earth Day, from Nassau, Bahamas, Alejandro Caballero, member of “Escazú Ahora México” report about the 4th Conference of the Parties (COP4) to the Escazú Agreement, Organized by ECLAC from April 21 to 24, it seeks to strengthen the implementation of the rights of access to information, participation and environmental justice in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as guarantee the lives of human rights defenders.

-Progressive summit in Barcelona
Nora Goren, Coordinator of Strengthening and Articulation of CLACSO, participated in Barcelona in the Progressive Summitwhere a call was made to strengthen joint action to protect and strengthen democratic systems against the advance of the far right in the world.

-Decolonizing German Cooperation in Latin America – Progress and Reflections
On March 26, a virtual seminar was held with the aim of collectively reflecting on the decolonization of European and German cooperation in our territories in Abya Yala. The analysis of Karina Bidaseca, Coordinator of the Tricontinental South-South Program of the project "Decolonizing German Cooperation in Latin America"; Adriana Anacona Muñoz, Yanakuna Indigenous Woman from Colombia; sociologist, doctor in History and Art; Juan David Macuace Torres (Macu)Afro-queer activist and master's student in social anthropology – Colombia; and Leila de Souza Netto, from the Mulheres de Pedra Collective in Brazil.
The program for Wednesday, April 22st, covers two of the main themes of the Platforms for Social Dialogue which CLACSO is promoting for the coming years: “Just Transitions and Disputed Sovereignties: Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Futures from the Global South” and “Geopolitical Reconfigurations and Multilateralism in Transformation: Perspectives from the Global South”
