Presentation of the book and discussion: «Routledge Handbook on the Sociology and History of Cinema and Television in Latin America

We are pleased to share the invitation to the book launch and discussion surrounding the publication of the Routledge Handbook on the Sociology and History of Cinema and Television in Latin America. The event will feature its editor, Paula Halperin (Purchase College, State University of New York), who will be discussing the work with the researchers.

The activity is open and in person, and will take place on Wednesday, September 9 at 6 pm in Room 2 of the Gino Germani Research Institute (IIGG), located at Uriburu 950, 18th floor, CABA.
This activity is organized by the subject "History of the Media" (Margulis chair, formerly Rey) of the Communication Sciences Career of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (CCOM–FSOC–UBA) and the UBACyT Project "Archives at the crossroads: narratives, politics, gender and publics around film and audiovisual media (1933–2025)."
