The Institute for Gender Studies, a CLACSO member center, and the Written Materials Program, part of the UNED's Directorate of Didactic Materials Production, are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the teaching unit "Gender and Human Rights," written by Roxana Figueroa Flores, Rocío Chaves Jiménez, and Jacqueline Murillo Fernández. Join us on April 9th to discuss this work, designed to provide a panoramic overview that articulates three main themes: the history of feminist movements; the development of a theoretical, philosophical, and methodological framework surrounding women's rights; and the development of a national and international legal framework to protect the rights that women enjoy today. The work concludes with a review of women's rights in Costa Rica, which can only be fully understood in light of the content presented in the preceding chapters. This book, thanks to its numerous educational resources, is a valuable tool for disseminating information about women's human rights, a highly relevant and essential topic for building a better society every day. We would be honored to have you join us. Please confirm your attendance using the following form: https://www.uned.cr/qr/presentacionGD The event will also be streamed on YouTube.
