August 26 – 8:00 am – September 11 – 5:00 pm CMT
The introductory course-workshop will guide participants through a theoretical reflection on the concepts of space, territory, and landscape within the framework of the Social Sciences and Humanities, considering approaches and debates developed from Latin American perspectives. At the same time, it provides technical and methodological tools that will enable participants to recognize the relevance of spatial analysis in diverse sociocultural and historical contexts using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
