Fidel Castro Free Chair. The United States against Fidel

The Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (CELARG), in conjunction with the Cuban Embassy in Venezuela, will hold the third session of the Fidel Castro Free Chair, entitled "United States against Fidel".
With the participation of two prominent intellectuals of contemporary political and social thought:
-Hernando Calvo Ospina: Colombian journalist and writer residing in France and a regular contributor to Le Monde Diplomatique. He specializes in the geostrategic policy of the United States toward Latin America and is the author of internationally acclaimed essays translated into eleven languages, such as "Dissidents or Mercenaries?" and "Bacardi Rum, the Hidden War."
-Domingo Medina Gutiérrez: Venezuelan political scientist, graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, with advanced studies and in the doctoral phase in Political Theory and Public Administration at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
He currently serves as president of the Miranda International Center Foundation.
