Dr. Carlos Figueroa Ibarra is a renowned professor and researcher at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). He has an impeccable track record as the author of more than twenty books on political violence and social processes in the Americas, and has been a visiting professor at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, FLACSO, and the University of San Carlos of Guatemala.
