Call for articles and reviews – Cadernos PROLAM (BJLAS)

The magazine Brazilian Journal of Latin American Studies (PROLAM Notebooks), linked to the Postgraduate Program in Latin American Integration (PROLAM) of the University of São Paulo (USP), opened the Call for Proposals No. 02/2026 for the publication of articles and reviews that will make up issue number 52 of the magazine, scheduled for December 2026.
The call is aimed at researchers with postgraduate training (completed or in progress) who present original and unpublished contributions on Latin America and the Caribbean, or comparative studies between two or more countries in the region.
Types of contributions

Recent (15 to 17 pages, including references)

Reviews from recent books or Latin American classics (3 to 6 pages)

Also accepted interviews and keynote lectures with relevant theoretical or scientific contributions.
We accept submissions at Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Requirements and evaluation
Contributions must be original and unpublished (preprints are accepted), conform to the standards of the Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) and be submitted exclusively through the journal's digital platform.
The evaluation is carried out under the system double-blind peer reviewIn accordance with open science principles, authors must have an ORCID identifier.
