Latin America facing the transition of the international order: autonomy, dependence, geopolitics and security in dispute
The panel entitled “Between Autonomy and Subordination: Latin America and the Caribbean Facing the Crisis of the Western Order and the Planetary Geopolitical Reconfiguration” which will be held virtually as part of the VII International Conference on Latin American and Caribbean Studies, organized by the IEALC-UBA, proposes to analyze the recent transformations of Latin American and Caribbean foreign policy in the context of the crisis of the Western liberal order and the decline of US hegemony, the radicalization of the right and the securitization of regional politics.
