La Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, en articulación con el Distrito Especial de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de Medellín, invita a investigadoras, investigadores, docentes y especialistas de las ciencias sociales y humanas a participar del 59th International Congress of Americanists (ICA 2027), which will take place from 5 to the 9 of July of 2027 in Medellin.

The International Congress of Americanists is the world's oldest multidisciplinary gathering dedicated to the study of the Americas. Since its first edition in 1875, it has brought together specialists from diverse fields of knowledge to discuss the continent's main historical and contemporary challenges.
Each edition brings together thousands of participants from more than 70 countries, establishing itself as a privileged space for international academic exchange and the circulation of critical knowledge.
