Ángel Rama International Chair of Criticism and Cultural Studies

Inaugural session of the Ángel Rama International Chair of Criticism and Cultural Studies. With the establishment of this chair, Celarg pays tribute to the Uruguayan critic Ángel Rama on the centenary of his birth, while also consolidating a space for permanent academic dialogue on Latin American culture and criticism. The session will be led by Mirla Alcibiades, with a brief intervention via telephone (or video) by Alberto Rodríguez Caruci (see biographical sketch). The installation of the plaque naming the Celarg researchers' room on the first floor after Ángel Rama is planned.
