The CLACSO Working Group on Social Studies in Health offers a space for analysis and debate on the recent political, economic, and geopolitical transformations taking place in Latin America and their repercussions on health, public policy, and health systems. In an adverse scenario marked by the renewed imperialist offensive under the Donald Trump administration, the strengthening of far-right forces, disputes over strategic resources, and growing threats to democracy, the group will discuss the main challenges to guaranteeing the right to health, as well as the political and social alternatives aimed at strengthening health sovereignty and social justice in the region.
