1st virtual meeting Scholarship for Girls, Boys and Adolescents in the Digital World

1st virtual meeting Scholarship for Girls, Boys and Adolescents in the Digital World

Within the framework of the research grant "Children and adolescents in the digital world? Characteristics, trends and challenges before, during and after the pandemic", promoted by CLACSO and the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Families (SENAF), and the meetings and teleworking spaces promoted by the CLACSO Research Directorate, the first virtual meeting of grant recipients and tutors of this call was held on Monday, December 12.

At the meeting, the scholarship recipients presented their revised research proposals. Their mentors, in turn, offered feedback and recommendations to further the process. The two-hour exchange was incredibly enriching, highlighting the wide range of projects that have begun to take shape, as well as their importance in developing new ways of understanding poverty and inequality in our region, with the aim of counteracting them.

The meeting was attended by Agustina Davenport, Walter Capelli and Mariana Arrizabalaga, representatives of SENAF, and Pablo Vommaro, Director of Research at CLACSO, and Teresa Arteaga, member of the Research Directorate of CLACSO, as well as the 25 scholarship recipients and 3 tutors from Argentina.
