XXVIII Ordinary General Assembly of CLACSO
On Saturday, June 7, the XXVIII Ordinary General Assembly of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences began in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, with the presentation of the Activity Report by the Executive Director of CLACSO, Karina Batthyány.
Professor Leopoldo Múnera, Rector of the National University of Colombia, welcomed the assembly members. Carolina Jiménez, a member of the CLACSO Steering Committee and Vice-Rector of the National University of Colombia's Bogotá campus, presided over the session.
The day on Sunday the 8th closed with the vote for the Executive Directorate of CLACSO, which resulted in the victory of Pablo Vommaro for the period July 1, 2025 to June 2028.
Earlier, on Friday, June 6, the 112th Meeting of the CLACSO Steering Committee took place , which finalized the activities of both the Ordinary Assembly and the X Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences, from June 9 to 12 in Bogotá.
