Workshop: Evaluation of research and open science in Argentina

The scientific event organized by CECIC will take place on August 4th and 5th at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of UNCUYO. Specialists in academic evaluation from across the country will participate in its various activities to analyze the current state of research and discuss recent findings in light of the transition to the open science paradigm.

Regarding the workshop's thematic axes, they will reflect on:

1) Research profiles and evaluation frameworks in national Scientific-Technological organizations (CONICET, I+D+I AGENCY, National Universities).

2) The evaluation of scientific publications at CONICET and the specificity of the social sciences.

3) Open science and academic evaluation: implications of extending the open access journal model with APC.
