Webinar "Collaborations in Latin America: FAIR principles in research and data management"
The FAIR Principles call for the democratization of knowledge, inviting the global research community to implement practices that allow their research results and data to be findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.
This webinar will introduce the FAIR principles, presented by two experts with extensive experience implementing them in research projects and in setting up academic repositories. It will also explore the CARE principles and indigenous data sovereignty as a specific offshoot of the FAIR principles.
This event is the third webinar in the “Latin America Collaboration Webinar Series,” which focuses on sharing experiences in open data research for Latin American countries. This series is organized by the United States region of the Research Data Alliance (RDA-US).
