Vulnerability, poverty, and social policies appear to be three intertwined concepts, often used interchangeably under the notion of lack or scarcity, though their definitions are not synonymous. So, what do they have in common? Amidst their differences and parallels, their analytical and disciplinary convergences and divergences, this book aims to discuss and analyze how vulnerability, poverty, and social policies are defined and addressed from a critical perspective, focusing on certain components of social sensitivities that intersect with processes of social structuring in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, China, Spain, France, Ireland, and Italy.
