Old and new right-wing movements in America
This book, the second in the Emerging Agendas collection, the result of the open call of the same name, articulates areas that are transversal to different expressions of the extreme right that began to proliferate in our region during the second decade of the 21st century. Its purpose is to problematize, in particular, the importance for the political future of Latin America of developing a research program focused on contemporary right-wing movements. The volume aims to provide social and political movements fighting for the construction of more democratic, freer, more egalitarian, and socially just societies with more and better analytical tools to confront the context of crisis facing humanity and, within it, the challenge posed by right-wing and extreme-right movements in the struggle for a better future.
