A sociology without borders
We present a new book in the “Legacies” series, a collection that brings together fundamental pieces from great intellectuals of our region, arranged around their work programs and organized from a temporal perspective.
In this compilation of Luz Gabriela ArangoSpanning from 1991 to 2018, this collection features some of her most representative texts, an intellectual legacy that challenges the androcentrism and Eurocentrism of the social sciences while amplifying the voices and experiences of women.
This work invites us to rediscover the impact of her thinking on feminist struggles and her contribution as one of the fundamental thinkers for understanding and transforming our social reality, and is an act of recognition of a life dedicated to combating gender inequalities and opening paths towards a more just and generous world.
