A critical look at care and gender equality at the heart of CLACSO 2025

From June 9 to 12, Bogotá hosted the Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences #CLACSO2025, an event that brought together experts from across the region to reflect on the current challenges facing the world. With a special focus on care work and gender equality, UN Women, along with civil society organizations, multilateral agencies, academia, and institutional representatives, fostered dialogue centered on the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action.
