Three new titles in the CLACSO-CALAS collection

Care in and Beyond the Anthropocene brings together conceptual contributions, political essays, and empirical studies from the humanities and social sciences. In its chapters, the intersections between the Anthropocene and care open new fields of dialogue on ecological crises, the multiplicity of worldviews, and pluriversal community well-being.

Dollarizations helps to expand our imagination about the role of global currencies and helps us understand how the countries that issue and back them economically and militarily play, through them, a crucial role in the construction of political authorities, in the dynamics of social stratification and in the elaboration of collective and personal imaginaries.

The Andean Amazon in the 21st Century aims to contribute to the discussion surrounding the Amazon basin, with an emphasis on the so-called Andean Amazon, and welcomes contributions from colleagues of different disciplines and trends in order to raise central questions on whose resolution the future of the region and the world depends.
