We present three new books from the CLACSO-CALAS collection.
Song with everyone It proposes a debate on the categories of the title – popular culture, subalternity and decoloniality in Latin America – intertwined and interwoven with the field of popular music studies on the continent: studies that have gained special interest in recent years based on the relevance of the uses of popular music in different cases of recent political mobilization.
Tax policy and inequality in Latin America It analyzes the relationship between natural resource wealth, allocation policy, and the limited role of taxes in redistribution, as well as the progressive mobilization of resources.
Building bridges between disciplines It offers models and suggestions for designing lines of research that dialogically integrate the different disciplines at all levels: from how to select the concepts and methodologies that should guide academic work to the small details of its implementation that must be dealt with on a daily basis.
