Weaving networks

 Weaving networks

CLACSO and the Positive Leadership and Key Populations Alliance worked during 2021 on the implementation of a Literacy Program and a Higher Diploma in HIV from the perspective of collective health, through which more than 250 social leaders from 17 Latin American countries were trained.

For the Postgraduate Network, the exchange of knowledge is one of the Council's pillars, and its implementation is a daily task. "Weaving Networks: HIV as Seen Through 14 Latin American Activists" captures this dialogue, resulting in a collaborative book brimming with stories, knowledge, experiences, and analyses of one of the great pandemics of our time: AIDS.

Forty years after the first clinical description of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, who better than activists to critically reflect on the stigmas and limitations that weigh on people with HIV, but also on the struggles they have waged to find solutions, organize themselves and make our societies more just and equal?
