Weaving Alternatives #10: The Global Alternatives Network Newspaper

Members of the CLACSO Working Group Bodies, Territories, Resistances Part of The Global Tapestry of Alternatives They collaborated on and shared the 10th edition of the magazine “Tejiendo Alternativas” (Weaving Alternatives), which highlights the importance of recognizing the multiple forms of knowledge and practices that exist outside of dominant Western paradigms. It emphasizes the need to shift towards a more holistic and pluralistic approach to understanding and engaging with alternative forms of development, particularly in the context of the current global crises we face.

This edition is a tribute to Gustavo Esteva, on the first anniversary of his passing. It celebrates and remembers his contributions to the field of alternative development models, his commitment to decolonization, and his belief in the power of community action. The tribute includes personal reflections, as well as other content that highlights his work and legacy.
