Technologies and the democratization of knowledge
This new book, published in collaboration with IEC-CONADU, analyzes the foundations of the open science project while raising questions about the participation of the social sciences and humanities within it, as well as Latin America's role in developing open, non-commercial science managed by the academic community. It also argues for the need to establish more democratic systems of governance and management of open research processes and emphasizes the importance of considering accountability in the analysis.
