Feminist technologies
The authors of this book seek a broad audience, with readers willing to question hegemonic discourses about technology and its transformations; its links to work, bodies, public policy, and social struggles. And not in isolation, but taking into account the context: the urgency of the advance of far-right governments. The proposal is to contest the concept of technology from feminist perspectives as the warp and weft of debates, insurgencies, and resistances situated in the Global South. The book, as an artifact, has a gender, but it strives to transcend gender. And it also aspires to be a vessel of resistance: a feminist technology in itself.
