of seven dead in Arequipa, Abancay and Andahuaylas, hundreds injured and detained, criminalization and judicialization.
In these difficult times, we stand in solidarity with the mobilized Peruvian people and call upon the international academic community to safeguard human rights in Peru, ensure respect for the right to protest, and put an end to state repression. We hope that a National Dialogue will be opened that
include representative social actors and ensure that popular demands are addressed.
