Health systems in Latin America: challenges and perspectives

El jueves 7 de mayo, en modalidad virtual, desde las 19:00 hora de Argentina y gran parte de Brasil (UTC-3), se realiza el webinario “Health systems in Latin America: challenges and perspectives”, un encuentro que marcará la instalación del Grupo de Trabajo CLACSO “Social Studies for Health”, pensado como un espacio de diálogo e intercambio sobre los desafíos contemporáneos del sector en América Latina y el Caribe.

In this opportunity, Pablo VommaroThe Executive Director of CLACSO will welcome the Working Group and share reflections on the importance of health for democracy in the region. Following this, Professor Cristiani Machado, researcher from the Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública Sergio Arouca-ENSP, will present the topic “Health Systems in Latin America: challenges and perspectives”, offering a reflection on the main challenges, trends and possibilities for strengthening health systems in the region.
