At the university, there is an ongoing conversation between generations and among those involved in academic practices that should remain alive, regardless of the formats, languages, and tools we are able to create or mobilize. Part of the future of academia hinges on the ways we find to revitalize it, to pull it out of the "evaluation mania" into which we are often plunged, and it also hinges on the power of new student movements to join this conversation and dare to rethink its terms and scope. They should be given a voice.
