 Webinar: Another science already exists in Latin America

«Another Different Open Science Already Exists in Latin America"Open Science" is a series of webinars featuring real-world examples of Open Science practices, especially those occurring outside the walls of academic institutions, in areas such as Citizen Science, Open Scientific Hardware, and innovative Science Communication. The goal is to value the diversity of voices and experiences of these scientifically engaged groups, bringing them from the margins of academia to the center of the Open Science discussion. There is much more to Latin America than Open Access.

El opening seminar It will be on September 26th at 13 PM (ARG), and will feature the participation of Leslie Chan (adjunct professor in the Department of Global Development Studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough) and Caroline Botero (Director of the Karisma Foundation)

Throughout the month of October there will be two more seminars as part of this series on Environmental monitoring y spaces for knowledge production and innovation.
