International Open Access Week

«Open for climate justice" is the motto of International Open Access Week 2022, which runs from October 24 to 30.
International Open Access Week is the time to coordinate all communities to make openness the norm in scientific research and to ensure that equity is at the heart of this work.
As part of Open Access Week, CLACSO-FOLEC will participate in the following events:
-Activity “What is Open Science? Challenges and Opportunities”Expanding open science through reform in the evolution of research. Organized by the University of Tarapacá. Date: October 24. Time: 11:00 AM GMT-3.
-Webinar “Open Science Today”Organized by the Coordination of Repositories, Research and Foresight of CONACYT (Mexico), October 26.
International Open Access WeekOrganized by five Chilean universities: the University of Tarapacá, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the University of Chile, the University of Concepción, and the Central University of Chile. Format: in-person and streamed via YouTube channels. Dates: October 25-28.
3rd Arab Open Access ForumOrganized by the Doha Graduate Studies Institute, in collaboration with the Arab Community for Open Access (ACOA). Dates: October 29-31. Online format.
International Open Knowledge Seminar 2022Organized by the National Research and Development Agency (ANID) in conjunction with the Consortium for Access to Electronic Scientific Information (CINCEL). Virtual format. Date: November 10. CLACSO will participate in the panel “New Trends in Research Evaluation” at 11:15 a.m. Panelists: Laura Rovelli, coordinator of FOLEC-CLACSO / Rodrigo Costas, senior researcher at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies - Leiden University / Frances Downey, head of Research and Innovation Culture – UKRI
