Heading to the LASA Congress in Boston

From May 24 to 29, I will participate on behalf of CLACSO in the XXXVII Congress of LASA, the Latin American Studies Association, entitled “Our America: Justice and Inclusion”, in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

One of the central themes will be the discussion of “Indigenous Languages ​​and Literatures,” a topic of great importance to our region. It is worth remembering that 2019 was declared the “International Year of Indigenous Languages” by a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the LASA Congress you can find us at the booth D25I invite everyone to join me for talks and interviews, and also to appreciate the wide variety of books published by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences in recent times.

It awakens great anticipation in me General Meeting of CLACSO Working Groups and Member Centers which will take place at the stand on Saturday, May 25, between the Between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. A large number of GTs and Member Centers have already committed to participating.

I am accompanied in the CLACSO delegation by the Directors Pablo Vommaro of Research, Nicolás Arata of Training, and Gustavo Lema of Communication and Information.
