Rosario Aguirre, a lucid and courageous feminist
Rosario was an indispensable woman, a lucid and courageous feminist, a rigorous and committed sociologist. But for me, she was also someone very close: a colleague and fellow thinker with whom I shared projects, debates, learning experiences, and also affection for many years.
Working alongside Rosario was a privilege. Her ever-sharp insight, her ethical consistency, her commitment to social justice and to the concrete lives of women profoundly shaped my own journey. Rosario not only produced fundamental knowledge about work, time, and care; she taught us to see the world with greater sensitivity, greater responsibility, and greater humanity.
