Condemnation of the ongoing repression against labor reform

The CLACSO member centers in Argentina condemn the repression that occurred during the popular mobilization against the regressive labor reform that the Argentine government intends to impose and demand the immediate release of all those detained.

We defend the right to protest, to organize, and to participate democratically without criminalization or persecution. And we work to defend public education and science, and labor rights for everyone.

From each of our spaces we work for the strengthening of democracy in Argentina and in the region in the face of threats from authoritarian, reactionary and violent governments.

We will continue building a fairer, more democratic, and more equal society.
