 Rethinking science and education in our America

The sixth meeting of the debate series “Rethinking our America” takes place on Wednesday, March 17, at 19 p.m. in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay (GMT-3), and its theme is “Higher education, science and technology.”

The class will be taught by René Ramirez, economist, PhD in sociology of inequality from the University of Coimbra, researcher at PUEDJD/National Autonomous University of Mexico; and by Karina Batthyány, PhD in sociology, Executive Secretary of CLACSO, full professor of the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of the Republic.

Rethinking Our America is an invitation to debate the challenges of a continent that has recently experienced one of its longest cycles of democratic stability under progressive governments and that today faces an uncertain future.
