Within the framework of the XIV International Congress of Higher Education “University 2024”, in Havana, Cuba, the Latin American Council of Social Sciences organized the Forum on February 6th “Higher education and social transformation".

The “University 2024” Congress brought together researchers, academics, and education leaders from over 40 countries, as well as representatives from 36 international university organizations and associations, including CLACSO and its Member Centers in Cuba. The event fostered the exploration of new horizons, the discussion of challenges, and the charting of a visionary path toward the future of higher education.

The program on Wednesday, February 21, the first of the fifth season of InfoCLACSO, covers one of the main themes of the Platforms for Social Dialogue which CLACSO is promoting for the coming years: “Right to education, public policies and pedagogical alternatives (Higher Education)".
