What development? Multi-stakeholder and multi-level dialogues
The objective of the CLACSO Working Group "What Development? Multi-actor and Multi-level Dialogues" is to contribute to promoting sustainable public policies, through the articulation of social research with
public policies and among different spaces of dialogue, subjects, methodologies, agendas and policies, to promote multidimensional transformations in accordance with more emancipatory paradigms of development.
Regarding knowledge production, it proposes the creation of interdisciplinary spaces for articulation for comparative social research between researchers from different disciplines, those responsible for or managing public policies, social and trade union organizations, community and territorial experiences on their visions of development and the possibilities of dialogue between them.
The dissemination of knowledge is expected to contribute to the academic training of young researchers in the region on the topics of public policies for development, as well as to disseminate dialogue methodologies around them.
Regarding the promotion of public responsibility and social intervention actions, it proposes to develop multi-actor and multi-level dialogue processes around the design and implementation of more effective, inclusive and sustainable development policies.
Finally, the proposal includes articulation with other networks and institutions to build alliances that allow for the development of counter-hegemonic proposals on development.
