Puerto Rico and Colombia exchange alternatives to address the climate crisis
El CLACSO Working Group Political Ecology(ies) from the South/Abya-Yala Together with the UPB Territory Research Group, they work jointly with the objective of generating learning from experiences and the production of environmental knowledge situated in diverse latitudes, thanks to the promotion of relationships between researchers from organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean, mainly in Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico.
On this occasion, Larissa Paola González Nieves, who arrived in Medellín from Puerto Rico, interested in studying the Master's Degree in Development from UPBBased on the knowledge gained on the topic of environmental justice in the different classes and her interest in the subject, González Nieves began to develop, with the help of Professor Denisse Roca-Servat, a thesis that will be linked to the initiatives of the CLACSO Working Group Political ecology(ies) from the South/Abya-Yala, and to the work of the Territory Research Group.
