International migration has become a point of political articulation for right-wing and far-right political movements and parties in various societies, both in the United States and Europe as well as in countries of the Global South.
In this context, Bridges, Not Walls addresses two main challenges: both the critique of the radicalization of anti-immigrant policies and discourses, which are expressed in concepts such as securitization, externalization of borders or racialization of those who leave their countries by force; and contributing to giving content and form to a progressive migration policy.
This book aims to think and act beyond the boundaries of disciplines and territories, and builds bridges between colleagues from Canada, the United States, Central America, and Europe.
