Indigenous peoples, territories and autonomies
Within the framework of the 9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences, on Thursday, June 9, in the Main Tent set up at the UNAM's Las Islas campus, the keynote dialogue " Indigenous Peoples, Territories, and Autonomies " took place. Participants included Ailton Krenak , philosopher, ecologist, and Indigenous writer from Brazil; Ana Silvia Monzón from the Gender, Sexualities, and Feminisms Studies Program at FLACSO, Guatemala; Elisa Loncón Antileo , former President of the Constitutional Convention of Chile; and Gladys Tzul Tzul , researcher on Indigenous women's communal struggles, territory, and violence in Indigenous territories, affiliated with the Amaq' Institute, Guatemala. The event was introduced by Esteban Emilio Mosonyi from the National Experimental Indigenous University of Tauca, Venezuela.
