The following CLACSO Working Groups participated

  • Network of gender, feminisms and memories
  • Critical legal thinking and sociopolitical conflicts
  • Emancipatory practices, common goods, and decolonial alter-global methodologies
  • Feminisms, resistance and emancipation

Interview with Alejandra Oberti, from the Institute of Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, member of the CLACSO Working Group on Gender, Feminisms and Memories, in InfoCLACSO of March 26, 2025.

The document constitutes a political commitment in a threefold sense: first, it seeks a guiding effect that, by establishing consequences for certain behaviors, inhibits their repetition; second, it aims to have an educational effect through visibility, recognition, and reflection on these forms of violence; and third, it proposes to establish a broad intervention process that is not limited to punishment but also provides support and proposes mechanisms for reparation for the victims.
It is considered that in order to fulfill this triple purpose – guidance, education and intervention – it must have clear axes that facilitate its implementation.

In conjunction with the development of this Protocol, the following functions InterGts Commission for initiatives for reflection and training on violence in academia, which designs, organizes and carries out various actions aimed at making these issues visible within the CLACSO framework.

This commission published its first bulletin in 2024, "Reflections and resistance on patriarchal violence in academia," entitledPerspectives on patriarchal violence and power in academia«.
