CLACSO's presence at AIDS Science Days 2019

The Executive Secretary of CLACSO, Karina Batthyány, is in Stockholm, Sweden, participating in Sida Science Days 2019, organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

The welcome address was given by Anna Maria Oltrop, Head of the AIDS Research Cooperation Unit, and then the Director General of the Agency, Carin Jämtin, spoke.

During the meeting, Karina Batthyány met with anthropologist Seteney Shami, director of the Arab Council for Social Sciences (ACSS), and with Godwin Murunga, Executive Secretary of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (Codesria), seeking to strengthen ties and work on new projects.
